    .... Mystic Opera was founded by keyboardist and composer Anssi Pajuoja in November 2005. Mystic Opera is dark-influenced symphonic black metal band influenced by artists like Dimmu Borgir, Rhapsody and King Diamond and classical composers like Frédéric Chopin and J.S. Bach. Band's lyrics are mainly dark stories from Tolkien's Silmarillion times. Mystic Opera published first promo "Mighty Sauron" in the end of 2006. Our first three songs from it can be heard from this sites. .. Mystic Opera had peaceful times after that and the first line-up broke in the beginning 2007 because those members then weren't enough professionals and motivated to work at level Mystic Opera requires. In the beginning 2009 Mystic Opera activated again and started to make album in may 2010. At the same time we decided to change our style more symphonic, classical and more into melodic black metal.     Just dropping by to say 'Hello' & Thanks for joining our page. 2011 was our 20th Anniversary. TIMELESS was released and I'm very proud of it. Currently I am recording all the remaining songs for LOST ANTHOLOGY which will be out for May 9th. Very soon a vocalist will be announced. With all the excitment with this year is also sadness. Its too bad that Todd Kulessa (RIP) isn't here to celebrate with us. He poured his true love of music into the songs were working on now. Heres to you!
