The Mystics: comprized of diverse MCs, have come together for one common goal. In a day and age where simarlities and sound-a-likes in the music industry are the norm. Abyss, Dimension, Express, Fourever, MATTs and Prizm strive to uphold those principals upon which Hip-Hop was founded. Originality and Creativity are the two main ingredients never left out in making their brand of music. The result is a sound that has to be heard rather than described which sets them apart from their peers. In their eyes they defy the influx of new music acts that tend to follow whatever is the current industry trend. This defiance has helped create their buzz and has allowed them to share stages with some of Hip-Hop's elite atrists not limited to Eminem, Redman, Erick Sermon, and Tha Liks, among others. Since the groups formation in the mid 90's, The Mystics have been steadily moving out of the local spotlight and into underground Hip-Hop networks world-wide. Even with the independent, limitted released of the group's first album, Remnants of a Lost Culture managed to draw positive reviews from their home state of California as far east as France and Norway. The Mystics have advanced this far while keeping the operation in-house with everything from studio facilities to art design provided from within the group. Lyrically each member comes equipped with enough skill to hold his own and together they become a superhuman-like team able to bring their listeners to a fever pitch or sooth the soul whether hearing them live or through stereo speakers.
