I try to avoid types, stereotypes, but not stereos... Stereos are good. My lawyer makes me say that because I work for a stereo company. I don't have a lawyer. But I do have my own sense of style, which keeps me out of most cliches, niches, and fishes. I was going to put a likes and dislikes section, but I'm a man of extremes, so here are some loves and hates. Strong words, but I'm a strong man when the deodorant wears off.

Music is so important; a vibrant thread running through history, creative expression and passionate emotion wed in a universal language capable of transferring inspiration from generation to generation. I'm always looking to expand my library, my favorite genres include punk rock, techno (trance, ambient, house, electronica), and progressive rock.

Most anything with Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller, or Steve Carrell... I'm also a sci-fi junkie, and I keep up on most of the new movies from Marvel Studios.

Still finding cable TV not worth my time and money, but I still catch anime whenever possible. I've kept up on Bleach to current (in Japan, not U.S.!) and am still waiting for a second season of Haruhi. Everything's better in original Japanese, by far. Also see Heroes section below.

Mostly comic books at this point, I must confess. I keep up with Deadpool and Thor, occasionally The Punisher provides a little intellectual gratification. Of course anything by Jhonen Vasquez has my full attention.

I'm learning every day new ways to grow and become the person I was designed to be. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that life will never stop being tough - but it's only as fun as you make it. That's why I'll do just about anything to make you laugh, and I'll laugh along with you just to preserve the moment. Time, with God's help, heals all wounds, but a good laugh helps take away the sting for a bit while you wait.
I believe music can be more deep and profound than even words, in the hands of a true musician. Some of my favorite is non-lyrical, yet it constantly impresses me how much sheer emotion can be conveyed through a medium of musical notes on lined paper. I hope to create something like that someday, but for now I'm just an amateur keyboardist and budding guitarist, learning and playing around in my downtime...waiting for inspiration to bring scattered ideas into coagulation.

...and after almost two years of finding myself, I have finally been given someone who is just for me. Who cares about me for who I am, nothing more. She is more amazing and beautiful than I could possibly earn or begin to deserve; yet here she is, sweet as anything and pretty inside and out. I am humbled by this awesome gift I have been given, and hope every day to somehow repay the unconditional affection she shows. In spite of myself, against all odds, I find myself totally in love...looking forward to what the future has in store and hoping beyond hope that I can spend it with her. I love you Rayah.
