My Three Kilts is a three-piece Celtic band of miscreants that play traditional and modern Celtic songs. They are, essentially, a Celtic party band. Most of the songs they play are heard in Irish pubs and have been passed down and recorded for many years. Nearly all of the songs My Three Kilts plays require audience participation of some form or another. The songs are sing-a-long, clap-a-long; get your feet moving songs that get all of the patrons involved. The whole point of their shows is fun. That applies to the band and those in attendance.
The band formed in June of 2007 as “something to do” just to get off the couch. After a very successful performance at the Nutless Hound pub in Goldsboro NC, the band has been building a faithful following at The Flying Shamrock, Tir Na Nog, Flanagan’s, and Paddy’s Pub. The band was also honored to take part in the 20th Annual Beaufort Music Festival, and St. Patrick’s Day at the Flying Shamrock and Tir Na Nog.
