As a 19 year old half Okinawan enrolling in college for surgical technology, Miles began his spinning life through Andy Stephens. Being his personal assistant and apprentice, Miles began crate-digging for vinyl in St. Louis at Record Exchange, Vintage Vinyl, and the occasional trip to Gramaphone Records in Chicago.
Attending his first rave at 18, Miles spent a lot of time learning anything and everything Andy had to say about turntables, mixers, and audio engineering. In turn, he'd attend Andy's gigs to witness all the knowledge put to use in every dance floor he would demolish. From house parties, tragic electronic festivals, and even downtown lounges, Miles would learn all the secrets of crowd reading and controlling the energy.
Aside from his residency with Behrmann's Tavern, Miles has played charity events for Webster Gardens Youth Ministry and other youth sponsored events.
