corruption at 3 am, pissed off inner children, blinky lights and twisty knobs, probably disney, the musical playing in my head-all the time...trying not to loose faith in delusions of grandeur...when birds chirping and snoring harmonize, static and white noise, bad drawings, 1/4 inch outputs and peizo mics can attach to anything, awsome people, juxtapozed environments, the texture of land from the sky, road trips, people who gave up and smell like urine, the delusions i've escaped into and refuse to come out of, the beat of footsteps when you walk or skateboard, trying to make bad recordings sound good, trying to make my cheap equipment sound good, trying to make my haggard voice sound good...and the japanese.
music i like? uhh, dresden dolls/amanda palmer ,almighty opp, shakatak--yeah!, pretty balanced, kate bush, vermillion lies, the residents, iron maiden, cinema strange, music boxes, emilie simon, emilie simon, emilie simon, the incredible moses leroy, coco rosie, the books, tricky, tori amos, ladytron, her space holiday, blonde redhead, i play guitar like daniel johnston, brighteyes, the legendary pink dots, pixies, sonic youth, architecture in helsinki, regina spektor, etc, etc, etc, blah blah blah theres so much great music out there... but i partucularly love anyone who creates music because they have to, not because they just want to get laid.

My Velcroe tastes like a manhattan licked off the stomach of a cherry gummy bear-er something like that. Minimal theatrical pop music about things like walking through alleys with junkies and waiting for batman to come back. this album is meant to be a cure for the suicidal. i dont know if anyone else will feel it, but it sure cheered me up. but you dont just have to not hang yourself to it, you could also fall out of love to it, you could give yourself homade tatoos with sewing needles and microns to it, you could wait for your imaginary superheroe lover to bring you a star from heaven to it, or you could contemplate life with a smile whilst fleeing the scene of a crime feeling so innocent the whole time to it. I am currently working on the third my velcroe album, it will be the best one, as im into collaborating on a bunch of the songs and i have some mighty talented people in my life. ---emily
