NEW SCHOLARSHIP AVAIALABLE THROUGH VICTORIA ROCKS:
Victoria Rocks announces Big Sound Music Conference Scholarship for Victorian musicians and managers
Arts Victoria’s contemporary music funding program Victoria Rocks has announced a new Scholarship for Victorians to attend the annual Big Sound Music Conference in Brisbane 10 - 12 September. The scholarship is available to a total of six Victorians including three Indigenous Victorian musicians and managers.
Big Sound is an annual music business conference held in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.
The 2008 event includes prominent music industry and media players taking part in three days of panels and new music showcases
Most importantly – Big Sound is a terrific opportunity for aspirant musicians and music managers to network, make contacts, build relationships, do deals and get inspired.
How to apply:
Applications are being called for through an Expressions of Interest process. The scholarship covers registration fees and $1,500 to cover travel and accommodation costs.
