Yukio Murata became the founder of the music project known as "MY WAY MY LOVE”
The band’s live performances received an unprecedented amount of praise and together with a self-produced album they set out to conquer not only Japan, but the entire world.
2004
After signing a record deal in the US and releasing “Hypnotic Suggestion:01”, the band sets out on a USA cross-country tour. This caught the eye of a big-name Indie label and led them to being the first Japanese band to hold consecutively hold the 1 download ranking for 5 straight weeks on “better Propoganda,” one of America’s largest download sites.
Backed by a hail of acclaim, the band returns to America for a second cross-country tour of 50 shows, earning them an unwavering spot in the US Indie scene.
2005
MWML’s next destination to dominate is Europe and they start the invasion with their first big Europe Tour.
2006
They release a new CD ” It Is But One Of Billions Of Galaxies In Your Universe” in Europe and also participate in the US’s largest music festival SXSW2006.
During this same period a long-awaited buzz starts in Japan and the band releases their first Japan CD ”Nothing is difficult to those who have the will” in August.
With a unique, universal characteristic sound not confined to simply Japanese or Western music and a mind-bending performance that draws in all viewers, the band instantly grabs the attention of the Japanese music scene.
2007
Charging straight ahead, MWML release their first Full Album “JOY” in Japan. They also successfully finish a big Japan tour. Not missing a beat they head back to the UK for a second tour and release the Vinyl Single “ACUPUNCTURE MAN/KILL YOUR IDOL” and their Full Album ”JOY” in November.
The band receives an astounding average review of 9.0 UK rock-club DJ’s as well as high praise from various rock magazines such as NME and KERRANG who went so far as to even say “My Way My Love has opened a new door to the Japanese rock scene for us.”
2008
Traveling all around the world playing almost 170 shows in a year.
April 2008, MWML releases their second Album, “a HOLY LAND INVADER” for the Japanese fans.With an ever-evolving musical style.
The band moved fast, 42 show almost 2 months they played, and dropped the impact of MWML FUZZ sound to the audience.
And deciding to devote itself to activity in Japan chiefly, finally 100 over show was play by the band with greedy to the end of the year of 2008.
2009
My Way My Love’s invasion is starting again.Releasing full album in each year, they showed the new view as a model of music. Again in 15th April 2009, "I'll Cure You with Electricity".It will be the third album released in Japan.
With the album bringing, having Japan tour. Charmed the spectator, and crave with a legend.Performing live shows broadcasting once on 3rd, keep stoically with their minds for handle too cruel live schedule.Final they had 30 shows for the tour and at the end of August they already performed 80 shows.
Planning there own project "FCXX" to north area of Japan.
Also they present their own show called "HEROIN" and now, performing 9 show till 2009.
The memory for all the Japanese fans, releasing the live DVD on 18th November, it was the final show of the Japan tour at Tokyo UNIT in 19th July 2009.
Having an offer for the festival shows they are still moving all around the world.
And the world aggression is still continuing.
This movement will soon reach to the European, American and also the fans of all around the World.
