Three weeks ago today local bands 222, BeBe Le Strange, White HOT Soul and Tony Rey forged together for an afternoon fundraiser to benefit our Lewisville-based Cleaning For A Reason Foundation (a service providing free house cleaning to women undergoing cancer treatments) and raised $711. Again, a million thank you's to these wonderful musicians who donated their talents for this cause.
The exciting news is that Senator Jane Nelson out of Double Oak (who has been a 15-year client of Buckets 'n Bows Maid Service also owned by the founder of Cleaning For A Reason) will read a proclamation at the State Capitol on April 27, 2009 declaring the week of April 26th through May 2nd as NATIONAL "Cleaning For A Reason Week. "

Just wanted to thank WHS for letting me sit in last weekend for a set at Judge Roy Beans. Had a blast playing Danny's most excellent drums and that Rogers Dynasonic snare was the BEST I have ever played. Just like butter!! Y'all sounded great and I had a blast! wade johnson
