Zero Origin is a band from Penang, Malaysia with a party of four. The band has been through several lineup changes over the years. Zero Origin writes and perform their own materials.
Kevin on the rhythm guitar and lead vocal, Crispin on the bass, Wee on the lead guitar and Mike on the drums. Zero Origin was formed through our love for music and performing. It was by chance, how the current line up was formed. Kevin, Crispin and Ken was form Ground Zero which was active in the Penang scene in the early 2000’s. In 2003 Kevin left the band (put the band on hold) to pursue his studies abroad. And when he finally came back, he kick started his old band and wrote new materials. The band roped in guitarist Wee previously from The Blaze to complete the band’s line up thus renaming the band Zero Origin to signify the fresh start of the band. Zero Origin writes and performs their own materials. The bands collective influences are from Nirvana, GnR, foo fighters, Godsmack..and the list goes on and on and on...
Dongtaidu music festival + Creative mart 2009 For this particular music festival, 4 small stages will be set up for bands with distinctive styles to present their own unique number. Around the musical scene, we will set up a creativity arena, gathering over 40 creative stall owners to fill the scene with air of eccentricity and the extraordinary. This creative flea market will focus mainly on creative TEE. If you want to reflect more of your ideas onto Tee, DTD creative flea market is the place for your individuality to shine! Abundant programmes including freestyle Cat Walk Show will also take place!
