HARLEYRIDER	Oct 24 2008 6:01 PM hi rich, just a note fron my friends angel up front about a venue that will no pay up bSb is a pub/bar on the waterfront in Bristol city centre. They have booked my band to play at the venue several time. Until recently there was no problem. After the penultimate gig we played there, they tried to pay us less, but paid up in the end. We have just played there tonight (23 October 2008) two full sets and they refused to pay us. There is absolutely no excuse for this. We have satisfied our end of the bargain. There is no justifiable reason for not paying us. The gig was booked well in advance (at least a month ago); they are open until 2am, and the pub was busy, so there is no argument that they will recoup their money. Please spread the word, and ask everyone you know to boycott the venue.
