Anything with a bit of story and depth. Especially pyscological stuff like Donnie Darko & Fight Club (films that hurt your mind)

Lost, 24, Star Trek DS9 (only DS9 - not a big fan of the other series'), Father Ted, Spaced.
Books
Crime thrillers mainly, but pretty much anything by Stephen King, John Grisham, James Patterson or Michael Critchton.
