Dubbed ‘The Electro Berber’ by French press, NAAB’s style is characterised by a sense of great freedom.
He invents fantastic universes, breaking down boundaries, yet merging urban styles and Oriental sonorities to create a whole new hypnotic and exhilarating sound - resulting in a colourful & dynamic blend of funky breakbeat, drum 'n' bass, Moroccan Souk, jazz and trip hop.
Tracks from his first album ‘Salam Haleikoum’ have been played and loved by Rob Da
Bank. Plump DJs and Giles Peterson to name a few. This year he has embarked on a European tour (recently supporting Asian Dub Foundation) to promote his latest album ‘Democrisis’ & songs from this album are currently played on heavy rotation on national French radio.
Naab has collaborated with many artists such as Roya Arab (Archive) on the French underground trip hop classic ‘L’etranger,’ acclaimed jazz drummer Aldo Romano, eclectic Italian classical composer Gualtiero Dazzi as well as MCing with the French drum ‘n’ bass outfit Attila Project.
With his first album he toured the planet, the highlight of the tour playing to an audience of 40,000 at the Fiesta San Isidro in Madrid.
Live, he is a charismatic and energetic front man, part shaman, part showman, quickly immersing audiences in the energy, richness and vibrance of his music.

T'es le bienvenu! Après cette session au port, on passera à d'autres lieux. Le but est de mixer les arts, produire des fresques pendant des lives pour faire de ces endroits au cours de quelques soirées des lieux multiculturels où les gens pourront nourrir leurs oreilles et aussi leurs yeux.

c'etait excelent le tit concert hier soir. trop cool de revoir aussi tout le monde. çà fait chaud au corazon! Musique et ambiance excelente. J'espère qu'il y aura encore plein de concerts. L'album est mortel, vous meritez un big success. çà parait pas mais c'est en toute objectivité! bizbilou
