La banda NACION se forma a mediados del 2003 por la iniciativa de dos personas:
Ivan Oviedo (Ex averno - Ex Dead Remains – Ex Mordedor – Ex Llawar), quien quiso
darle continuidad a un proyecto anterior que hizo con la banda “Mordedor”, con
quien grabo un Ep el año 97, ( dos temas de ese EP fueron Incluidos en lo que
fue el Maxi single de NACION grabado el año 2004), y de Omar (Ex Dead Remains,
Ex Mordedor, Ex Demente) quien participo en varias bandas junto a el, y quería
formar una banda totalmente seria; Por lo que a mediados del año 2003, se
volvieron a unir para empezar lo que seria NACION. El nombre fue propuesto por
Ivan quien se identifico con el nombre por el significado del mismo. A
principios del año 2004 se grabo lo que seria el primer trabajo de Nación, “No
Mas Milicia”, Maxi Single que contiene 3 Temas y con el que se dio a conocer
como Banda. Actualmente la banda esta Lista para estrenar su nuevo Álbum denominado
NACION SIN VOZ, el cual será lanzado En Abril del 2008; El lanzamiento será a nivel Sud America, Centro
América, Norte América y Europa simultáneamente.

joined by special links Uniformity cultural and historic." The band NACION was formed in mid-2003 by the initiative of two individuals:
Ivan Joe (ex-Averno, ex-Dead Remains, ex-Mordedor, ex-Llawar) and Omar (ex-Dead
Remains, ex-Mordedor, ex-Demente). Both wanted to continue what had started with
Mordedor after the release of their only EP in 1997. After Mordedor split up,
both musicians were busy working on their own projects. By mid-2003, they
decided to join forces in what would be NACION or "Nation", in English. Ivan
came up with the name and thought it was suitable due to its meaning in the
context of the band's lyrical theme. In 2004, they recorded "No Mas Milicia",
which was a maxi single containing 3 tracks. Two of these tracks were from
Mordedor's EP and were re-recorded to be included in this release. After
internal problems among members of Nacion, they decided to take a break. After
almost a year of absence from the scene, the two founding members decided to
reform the band. Currently, the band is in the stage of post production of its
first full-length CD called "Nacion Sin Voz" (A Nation With No Voice), which
will be released in early 2008. Soon more details…

REVIEW FROM TSUNAMI STREET PRESS, QLD - "Double Dragon are now one of the superior metal acts in the country, but with only two EPs behind their name, they were definitely due for a debut album. ‘Devastator’ is professional and hard-hitting, with head-crushing songs like 'The Possessed' and 'Choose Your Poison' confirming they have come a long way since their previous EP, ‘Scars of Fire’, which is what they have been touring off for the past couple of years. ‘Devastator’ is faster and far more creative, changing in and out of genres with singer Lee sounding somewhat like Opeth's Mikael Åkerfeldt on the soothing yet powerful track 'Black Sails of Armageddon'. Double Dragon have shown what they are capable with this release and that there is much more to come from them in the future (Matt).
