About me:
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

I'm never really sure what to write in these, so here it goes. My name is Jess. I'm going back to school to study Japanese, amongst other things. I spend most of my time reading, writing, drawing or watching anime. When I get tired of staying in one place, I go for a run.

Who I'd like to meet:
interesting people. If I had to pick, though, it would be pretty cool to talk to people like PJ Harvey, Kathleen Hanna, Carrie Brownstein, Yoshitaka Amano, Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez, Tito Kube, Masashi Kishimoto and Ikura Sugimoto. I'm this list could go on, but I won't bore you...

Thank you! Actually, the haircut has gotten even better! This picture is the first night I had the cut, didn't like it and had it fixed up. It is so weird to have shorter hair, I miss being able to tie my hair back in a ponytail. How are you?? I miss you?! I guess I missed when you were up here, but you had a busy schedule.

How about you? Any projects?

It is indeed a great song. Totally fits how I'm feeling these days. I haven't finished reading your story but I like it so far. I was kind of tired and had to sleep. I could so use a walk or a run or a bike ride today. I'm feeling rather detached and I need something to make me feel alive. I'll probably do that after work today, hopefully.

Thank you! I needed a change to fit my mood. I'm doing wonderful. I haven't felt this way in I don't know how long. Something about accomplishing things and taking charge of my own life. Its really quite freeing. I so loved our conversation. I can't wait for our next one! It will be soon if I have anything to say about it ;).

Thanks. Yeah, I know. My life is starting to sound like a bad country song, lol. I'm ok though. I'm sad but I'm moving on. I know they are both at peace and I take comfort in that. I'm glad I got to spend so much time with my family. It was a very healing time for us all. I was really glad to be home though. It made me motivated to start doing things with my life rather than just going through the motions. We never know how much time we have on this earth. We might as well make the most of it.

It was great to see you while I was there! I wish I could have seen you again but we'll definitely have to hang out more in September.
Thank you for the birthday wishes! *hugs*

Though it must be a huge annoyance for you, the image of a tiny puppy pulling apart the carpeting is kind of endearing.

Sometimes I want to promise people that if I call them, I'll only be on the phone "for a little while", "It'll be a short conversation, I SWEAR!" I think we both know that this is not very feasible for us. So you just call whenever you can.

And finally: because you are the one with the real experience with the languages of Japan, one day, you're going to have to explain to me the difference between the "-san" and "-chan" suffixes.
I didn't even know there was a "-chan" option!

So, I just had a slight break-through over an emotional issue, and partly as a joke, I decided to find that Hilary Duff song "So Yesterday" on youtube and listen to it.

Why am I telling you about this? I think because I associate moving on in a healthy and positive away with talking to you. That might sound weird, but it's totally true.

For the second time today: I hope I hear from you soon, J.
