Individually? The two members of Nadjeska have some very different individual influences that include everything and almost anything. Most music that's 'good' but some music that's 'bad'. (That would mostly be Nadia's collection.) Joel is a bit of a metal head with a twist of jazz and a nice voice for surfy pop.
The Band? Everything from old school jazz to new school jazz (oh, i know...) Pretty pop songs to pumped up punk. We also like a little easy listening (mostly in the car) and who doesn't have a favourite Beatles song (or four)?
Sounds Like
A tasty cocktail of Norah Jones(eeek) combined forcefully with Jack Johnson(hmmm). Add a mixer of originality (you're choice of flavour). Slice up some frente! and combine slowly, (but with passion) Do all this while imagining you're in a 70's porn flick with a hard hitting punk rock drum track and maybe, just maybe... your nowhere near it mate!
Nadjeska are a local Adelaide band playing a funky fusion of jazz and pop to placate even the most chorus - loving individual. Started in 2004 after a heavy night out, the band’s original line up consisted of Joel (ring a ding ding, you're speaking to the king) on guitar, and Nadia, (so this is the one with the chorus?) on vocals. After playing as a four piece for two years, Nadjeska are stripped off and down and back to being 'Just the two of us'
The two individual, yet musically entwined members of Nadjeska are travelling down the 'A-cow-stick Path of Funk' together, and hope to play for you in you’re neck-of-the-garden soon.

ATTENTION ADELAIDE MUSOS, ENTERTAINERS, LIVE ENTERTAINMENT OPERATORS AND SUPPORTERS OF LIVE ENTERTAINMENT!!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!
This Thursday, 13th Sept, The Advertiser are sending journalist Craig Bilsden and photographer to The Cavern, to do a story on Fair Play For Live Entertainment Venues and the effect that gaming machines have had on the South Australian live entertainment industry as a whole.
We need you to be there. I know it’s short notice, and The Advertiser knows that it’s short notice, but if we can have a few hundred people there willing to show their support for our proposal, with such short notice, it will really demonstrate how serious we all are about fixing the live entertainment industry.
We’re told we may be front page!! Which means you might be on the front page, so if you’ve got band t-shirts wear them, we’ve got nothing against a bit of self promotion. Call on all your friends and supporters to come along and have their say.
Thank you for supporting Fair Play For Live Entertainment Venues.
We are now progressing toward the second stage of our campaign, which is to build on the political support we’re currently receiving. If you’d like to help us we could really use true stories of the effect of pokies on South Australia’s live entertainment industry, displacement of live music etc. Perhaps you have a story or stories about the effect of pokies on you as an entertainer/band. Or maybe a story from the perspective of an audience member. Or of course as a live entertainment venue owner. Politicians like evidence and your stories will provide anecdotal evidence. Please send all stories to Monty at venuelobby@mail.com
If your not busy this saturday night, then we'd love to have you at the opening of a brand new bar on grote st. It is an old concert theatre that has been renovated and is amazing!
