n_ilk stands for ‘no ilk’, no formula or genre, - ‘anything goes’.
The aim of these events is to get artists, musicians, writers, performers, programmes etc all in one space performing and enjoying a wide variety of art forms. We also aim to break down some of the boundaries between professional and emerging artists by scheduling high profile artists alongside an open forum where anyone is welcome to perform, anything!

Our sell out events led to the organisation of a University funded ‘micro’-festival at the Botanic Gardens – which was held on Saturday 12th September 2009. watch this space for more events coming soon

I have been on a moth-identification evening. It was fab!!! But the birds are still my homeboys.
I noticed the whole "Calm" thing because whenever you send me e-mails I always think it's calum.... How very very strange!!! We obviously have our own collective consciousness on the go just the three of us. We call him Calm because... apart from the fact that's one of his defining characteristics... on the first album that we made together in our (terrible) high-school band, the inlay came back from the printers with a typo on every copy. And thus Calum became Calm forevermore!!!

It'd be awesome to catch up some time. Maybe once I get on top of all this crazy work that has overtaken me.
