| General | What NAFEO Does:
-serves as the liason between HBCU"s and the executive,legislative and judicial branches of federal and state government and with corporations, foundations, associations and non-governmental organizations.
-engages in a variety of public policy,legislative, legal, and advocacy activities on behalf of its members and partners.
-designs and engages its members in collaborative efforts to increase technology access; improve persistence and graduation rates, improve institutional performance, decrease helath disparities and increase wellness, increase capital and capacity; train new cohorts of HBCU presidents, stregthen the performance of member institution buisness and finance offices, enrollment services, student support services,preserve historic buildings;engage students in academic,athletic;buisness plan writing, and other competitions; and educate the public about the importance of HBCU's

About me:
The National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher education (NAFEO) is the umbrella organization of the nation's historically and predominatly black colleges and universities. Founded in 1969, NAFEO is the only membership association of its kind, representing the presidents and chancellors of all public,private,land-grant, two year, four year, graduate and professional, historically and predominatly black colleges and universities.
NAFEO's Mission
-to champion the interests of historically and predominantly black colleges and universities.
-to provide services to NAFEO memebers
-to build the capacity of HBCU's, their executives,administrators,faculty,staf and students.
-to serve as an international voice and advocate for the preservation and enhancement of historically and predominantly black colleges and universities and for Blacks in higher education

Who I'd like to meet:
Student Government officers, presidents, and their members who want to preserve and strengthen their HBCU's and predominantly black institution.
Inviting all HBCU Presidents to come and join our Black College Student Legislative Support Network.
