Little FACTS abou me so you'll get to know me a tiny (but important!) bit more....<3:
-Was born in Crete , Greece on the 1st of July , 1990 ( I think it was a Sunday..)
-My love for music came from my mother (who is a twin by the way) who was in theatre productions from the age of 12!
-The first records I ever listened to when I was little were the "Music Box" by Mariah , "The Score" by The Fugees and "Olou tou Kosmou tin Elpida" by Cleopatra.
-Claim of fame in Greece : Singing "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion on national TV when I was 8 , which by the way got me a pretty nice 4-year record deal with Universal Greece..
-I moved with my mother in Athens (capital of Greece) , when I was 14 , to get a better education in music , which led to me finding my amazing vocal coach , Mikaela~! I love you
for ever!
-I moved to New York when I was 17 ,(with my mother again!) , finished Highschool in White Plains and all of this moving to have better shopping malls....nahh just playing with you! It was my ultimate dream to create the music that I love in the center of the Universe.
-My secret wish has always been to do acting and learn to play the drums! (Not so secret anymore....lol)
-My debut album was released Oct 23rd , 2001
-Sang the theme song of the Greek movie "Psixremia" in 2007 and had a small part it the movie!! Let me tell you that was alot of fun!
-I've traveled the world performing live , and believe me it's the best thing this business can offer you. I made alot of friends throughout the world...(I hope they remember my name! )
-Took part in Grammy Camp 06'! I got a scholarship to Berklee for a songwriting seminar through a web site called We Are Listening in 07' and have done alot of Charity concerts with major Greek stars like Remos , ONE , Terzis , Karras and many others.
-My biggest inspirations as a singer , are the big voices like Celine , Whitney , Mariah...but when it comes to creation...that's a whole new level! I can get inspired by my friend talking about gum (it was an interesting , historical conversation..lol)
-I am the hugest (is that a word?) movie fan! I can memorize lines like crazy and if I really like a film I can watch it thousands of times! Not kidding :P
-My dream is to score films one day.That would be soooooo amazing and challenging because I love films and music, so even though to be responsible for a film's success makes me a little nervous, it would make me twice as proud!
-I can go on forever so...if you need some extra details about me, don't hesitate to ask~!
