The National Ass Groovin' Association is a comedic power groove. An assembly of aspirations astrologically assimilated as a psychedelic trio. From crazily assaulting to soothingly assuaging, We're not affraid to try that on stage anymore.....?..$@%...Not one NAGA show is ever the same, each like a caged animal set free, you never know which way is next....Bass'd out of Minneapolis Minnesota, we have been manifesting our sound into a monster (we call NAGA) playing locally in MPLS and St Paul for some years now. The entity of the NAGA is stronger than ever and growing everyday. Surviving on used dental floss and old tires, its brewing a massive sound turd for everyone to hear. Inspired by all those who've come before and long walks on short cliffs, NAGA is a some $@..! ya don't want to miss.
Our New self-titled romp in the audio wild side is available and kick ass, Check it out here or at our website. Immortalized and resized to make a bigger and broader wall of sound to saturate yourself in. Like a musical bath, it will wash over you, It may burn at first but after a bit, you realize the burn is what makes you feel good. NAGA is Face-melting funk for your ear lobes.
In 2005 your local National Ass Groovin' Association created," FORTHEMASSES". For who's asses?...everybodies asses. "FORTHEMASSES" is our premier CD we poured our souls into for your listening pleasure. It contains such tunes as "Instant Bootay", "Things", and the legend of "Tourettesasaurus-Rex". The legend of Tourettesasaurus-Rex?....Yes, it is the tragic tale of a dinosaur with tourettes that everyone thinks is mad, but he can't help it. He's a really nice guy... You can listen to a live in yo face version @ www.nassgass.com , its not just a tune any longer.

I just wanted to stop by and say hello! I hope that this week brings you fun adventures, relaxation, and contentment :)
I was going to go camping over the weekend, but this is definitely NOT camping weather. So me and some friends went to check out Dueling Pianos. Those guys are amazing - they can play just about any song that's been on the radio between 1950 and 2005.
Anyways, I wanted to let you know about a show we have @ Station 4 on Friday, October 16th. We are debuting a series of one time only performance art pieces. This one is called "AN OBJECT TO CRAVE". Live music and visuals based on a short story about life, love, loss, fantasy, obsession and death.
Another group of mine, The Magnetrons, which plays an exciting and innovative Livetronica set (i.e. STS9, Disco Biscuits, The Histronic) will also be playing. The night will be full of creative, interesting, high-energy music, good drinks and good times.
Here's the info:

RADIOINDY REVIEWS: Jam-packed with high energy Rock/Funk, National Ass Groovin’ Association and their self-titled CD, “N.A.G.A. (National Ass Groovin’ Association),” makes its mark with non-stop heavy metal madness. This trio stirs the gruff and tough realms of hard core rock with driving power chords and building beats. Driven by razor-sharp guitar, “Belief” and “Beast” emulate the maximum fury of classic heavy metal while impressing with its tight cohesiveness. A catchy bass riff and funky guitar gets the groove going on “Can’t Go,” with its flashback to the days of the ’70’s. Displaying their diversity, the ballad “Lost Lyons” shows this trio can dish out a softer side with a sweet piano solo and laid-back guitar riffs. Not only does this band rock, but they definitely have a sense of humor, as evidenced in the short, humorous song that promotes their website, “www.nassgass.com.” If you’re looking for a full-throttle, maxed-out metal sound, then “N.A.G.A. (National Ass Groovin’ Association),” is a must-have addition to your heavy metal collection. by-Diane and the RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team
