Serpentine merge their passions of art
and dark tribal belly dance in a unique
exploration of self-expression and
goddess devotion.
NagaSita - once a proud member
of Serpentine. Found in them a sisterhood
of like-minded individuals
and muses Aradia, and Lucretia*Renee
who she merged with beginning in 2007.
Becoming a tro Serpentine discovered a
whole new realm of opportunities &
dynamics. Their evolution naturally
led them to the unfolding of the
triple goddess rites and once their
combined talents were shared with
the public, they made history in
Portland one stage at at time.

NagaSita has been dancing her whole life. Beginning in the Hawaiian Islands at the age of 5 as part of a Hula Halau, while also performing classical Ballet throughout her childhood and adolescence. Neo Tribal Bellydance and Indian sacred dance became her passion when she moved to Oregon in 2002 while simultaniously devoting herself to the practice of Trika Yoga and Tibetan Ritual Practices at the Rudrananda Ashram. It was the thrill she experienced during the raging Bhangra boom scene in downtown Portland which reignited her passion for dance in a huge way. Now after seven years of study in Hatha Yoga and Tribal Bellydance, flavored with Burlesque and sacred Kathak dance from Northern India; NagaSita has developed a system of movement that she is now passing on to students through weekly classes, private lessons and performative workshops. Classes are every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the sanctuary space at Lotus Seed ~ 4635 NE 9TH & Going.
As a solo artist NagaSita has lent her talents to Cheb I Sabbah, Vagabond Opera, David Starfire, The Wanderlust Circus, Govinda, The Magick Daggers, Ashcan Orchid, Lightning In A Bottle, The Water In The Desert Festival, The Beloved Festival, Conflux NW Dark Arts Festival, and The Vampire Masquerade Ball. In Portland, she regularly danced Tribal Steam at Cabaret Babylon while it was still running & Tribal Lounge along side Severina & Gypsy Caravan during 2008. Currently, you can find her performing in Bogville Creature Features, The Wanderlust Circus and also Wanderlust's Sideshow Speakeasy at Dante's amidst a dazzling array of Portland's most notorious Vaudevillian entertainers, flavored with various bizarre cabaret acts as they pass through town. A lover of creative expression, she is always open to new artistic collaborations and endeavours.

Bogville came about when NagaSita found herself inspired by a world that she and her fellow denziens already lived in, which she one day simply decided to bestow upon a most fitting name. A dark fairytale musical, full of craft and conjury... It took months to finish the story of Bogville involving a framework of history behind each character intermingling, to support as a sort of knobby spine for the present day Bogville to cling upon with their own hand made rickety what-nots.
Each production being a chapter in the lives of the Creatures ov Bogville ~ Watch closely and lend them a careful ear, for you may possibly be lost along the way.

Each and every unique musical piece brings haunting visual storytelling to life, while recreating the wise contraptions of our forefreak underground ancestors so as to resurrect old-theatre, bleeding into it her own twisted visions of dance,
