I used to wonder how Lily's protection charm worked over Harry. the answer "love" didn't work for me. This morning, the answer "love" worked for me for the first time and now I understand how magic works.
If you have any kind of real love, just the thought of that real love can give you strength. It can protect you just like it protected Harry.
Most of my life is happy and easy but there are very dark areas. for the first time, this morning I endured a very dark area. I made the decision to look into the dark straight on, remembering that someone loved me. I didn't fall apart. I didn't become a mess in the darkness like I had for so long. It used to be so much easier to fall, harder to catch myself.
Love is magic. If you love someone, really love someone, it is the greatest gift you will ever give. Love endures, protects and strengthens from miles away, from generations apart. All of that with just a thought.
Thank you for listening to my music. I make it because I love you. I give so much of it away for free because I appreciate that you love me back.
Love gave Severus strength and sheer guts to fight. Love gave Harry protection and the balls to stand up. Please look into the darkness with love as your everlasting "LUMOS!". always give the gift of your love, let it burn for miles and miles and hundreds of years.
