As a young man Shawn would sit and watch his father draw, amazed at how a simple blank sheet of paper would come to life under the artist's pencil. Shawn was hooked on art with a vengeance; his favorite being comic book art. He found heroes not only in the title characters, but in the artists that brought them to life.
Shawn set his sights on becoming a comic book artist, but found another calling along the way. Sculpting has become Shawn Nagle's passion and life's work. Using life experience and nature as inspiration, Shawn Nagle has carved out an immensely successful career.

hey Shawn, just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about the whole Ringling lecture thing. I gave my department head your business card and number and they are seeing what they can afford to pay you for your visit, but they are pretty interested so things are looking good I'd say. Anyways, I hope you're doing well and we should totally meet up for a drink or something in the near future and shoot the shit about art and toys and whatnot.
