Bands: Nightwish, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Helloween, After Forever, Led Zeppelin, Michael Romeo, Heroes del Silencio, Therion, etc.
Formed in July 2003 by Jose Pablo Calvo, Jose Soto & Marvin Soto with the idea to create a different project in the Costa Rican metal scene. They would be joined by Hector Fernandez in the drums, Cesar Salazar in the keyboards, but still without vocalist. The official debut of the band would be in Halloween 2003 in a private gig with the appearance of Monica Villanueva and Leonardo Morales as guests vocalist. A month later Rodrigo Villalta would complete the band as vocalist & with this the first original compositions arise.
At the beginning of 2004 Cesar Salazar & Rodrigo Villalta would leave the group. Andres Najera replaced Rodrigo, but left the band to form his own project & by the end of 2004 Monica Villanueva would finally become the main vocalist.
2005 would be an important year for the band, participating in the “Diablo Metal Fest I” and enter to the Dreamer's Studio with producer Jary Vaglio to record its first demo “Almas del Mal” and later re-mixed by the same Vaglio under the name of “Club de la Mundanidad”. In March of that year Hector Fernandez would be separated and a month later Roy Ross would joined Nagmah.
It is the beginning of the most active period of the band with the participation in the “Metal Fusion 2005” preceded by an extensive tour during that would extend until March 2006 in the “Diablo Metal Fest Tour II” as stellar band along with Mantra and Dead Poets (Italy), culminating with success in July in Paul Dianno's (Ex- Iron Maiden) gig in Costa Rica.
In August of that year would initiate the pre-production with the acclaimed Jesse Alvarado (Akasha, Agressor) to enter 3:16 Studio in Guadalupe, to work with Sandi as producer (Trauma, Argos, Mantra) to record the first album of the band. Towards end of the 2006 band its invited to participate in “Mujeres De Metal Tour” along with Deimus & Argos. At the same time the guys keep working on the studio in their album.
The 2007 “Diablo Metal Fest Tour III” with the recognized and veteran bands Mantra and Arsenal has consolidated Nagmah sound and by end of year will hit the road with Deimus, Argos, Tears Of Blood and Contrasentido in “Mujeres De Metal Tour II” while his so awaited sophomore album waits to be release.
