Wir freuen uns tierisch, seit wenigen Wochen Sven Antoni als neuen Drummer bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen! Die ersten Proben laufen bisher fantastisch an, das Klima stimmt auch, und damit gibts uns in nicht allzu ferner Zukunft auch wieder voll verstärkt! Be prepared...

Founded in 2007, German Classic Rock band NAHANI captivates with catchy hooklines, driving rhythms and playful melodies.
Back in the early days, the idea of founding NAHANI arose during a rehearsal of Hans-Peter and Oliver with their former Cover band. Being fascinated by playing old Hard Rock songs, both decided to dig up some of their song ideas – just to see what they’d sound like – and the virus got them again! From now on, both resolved on writing and performing their own material in the future.
And so they began to seek and seek, until they finally, after several twists and turns, met their missing companions who were able to provide both time and the passion to pave the way for a new band with new songs and fresh energy. Starting with Fabian, a young, promising guitarist who was willing to turn his back on the whole cover band scene and who had already been looking for a new suitable project, the band was completed for now by drummer Matthias Buchmann.
The name NAHANI originates from literature and refers to the adventures of a she-wolf called “Nahani”, who lived back in the times of gold seekers, adventurers and trappers with her pride, forming a wild-romantic, stirring friendship with a young Indian who was also digging for gold, watching this sublime animal with respect and curiosity.
During the following months, the band was highly efficient; assembling about 20 songs, which finally resulted in recording their first PROMO CD in 2008 and playing one concert on a local biker meeting. Regrettably, Matthias chose to leave the band weeks later; due to his responsibility as both a husband and a father, as well as increasing requirements concerning working conditions, it had became difficult to balance things. At this point, we’d like to thank Matthias for his selfless nature and loyalty to the band, we wish you all the best for your personal & musical future!
Ever since, NAHANI has been looking for a new drummer and has used the current time-off to write new songs and refine arrangements.
Consequently, the band has recently recorded an Unplugged Promo, presenting their songs in a different light, while simultaneously proving their musical versatility.
NAHANI is now proud to welcome Sven Antoni as their new drummer in the band! Rehearsals are in full activity and have been promising so far! The band can't wait to return to what they're best at... ROCK THE STAGE !!!
