About me:
Nah' Joom Dancers perform various styles of Middle Eastern Dance and American Bellydance, based in Spokane, Wa.

One Night Only…Join Nah’Joom celebrating ten years at the Met, now the Bing Crosby Theater, with guest dancer & workshop instructor Elizabeth Dennis for an evening of multi-cultural music & dance.
Rejoining Nah’Joom are our long-time supporters & cherished friends, the phenomenally talented Sabah Tribe & the extraordinary Scabland Band of Wenatchee. Back from the first show is Yasmin accomplished percussionist & dancer from Idaho.
Performers from the Celebration of Colors family: Sedequah & Sha-mal of Idaho; Shennteelaa & Lulu from Tri-Cities; Cindy Moon Bear & Sue Christilaw of Malidoma with their drummer Michael Moon Bear & the Silver Spurs with their multi-cultural dances. Nah’Joom is looking forward to spending a spectacular evening dancing for you at the Bing Crosby Theater!

Slow Fusion Choreography and Technique Workshop
Add the hauntingly beautiful grace and power of the latest in fusion belly dance to your repertoire. This choreography workshop embraces the exquisite undulation and hypnotic movements of Middle Eastern and Spanish dance and with a flavoring of Tai Chi......
The workshop is exceptional preparation for learning tribal stylizations and will include a lyrical belly dance conditioning warm up, applying yoga, Pilates, ballet and general conditioning exercises. We will focus on breaking down arm and torso undulations to increase strength and power of slow movements, and combine them into a short choreography.
Elizabeth Dennis has been belly dancing for 14 years. Her fascination with dancing creatively started as a child. Disheartened with western dance forms, she stumbled upon belly dance in 1991 at the age of 29, when she saw her first snake draped belly dancer, glittering onstage, dancing with fire! She never looked back. She began fusing Flamenco, Ballet and East Indian dance with standard belly dance soon after creating her own uniquely precise and flowing fusion she calls “Flambellico.” She holds the championship title for her Flambellico performance in the “Tribal Fusion Solo” category at the Belly Dancer of the Universe Competition 2006, in Long Beach California, as well as 2nd runner up for “Fusion Solo” that same year.
