I think the genres I like best are '50s and '60s classic rock, modern foreign (especially Asian) pop/rock, and classic jazz. Music on my playlists can vary wildly, from cloyingly cute to dark or angry, though.Movies
The genres I like best are science-fiction, fantasy (mostly rhe cheesy '80s ones), horror/suspense (cheesy or scary is fine, but I don't dig the gory stuff), and the occasional artsy/foreign/period piece.Television
I love crime/forensic shows (true or drama), medical dramas, some science-fiction/fantasy/supernatural (though I fear my real supernatural experiences make most shows about that seem rather silly), and scientific/archaeological/historical shows on PBS.
