From crushing rhythms and complex time signatures to melodic harmonies and face-melting solos, Nailgun Strategy offer a unique brand of thrash metal. Born in the spring of 2006, the Louisville, KY quartet formed when guitarist Andy Russ teamed up with local legendary drummer Sean Rued (Faceplant). The two began forging a project that caught the attention of second guitarist Lance Arny (Flaw) who joined shortly thereafter. Several months and songs later, Luke McFarland joined the line up on vocal duties, and in the spring of 2008 Bryan Krauklis compleated the strategy by joining on Bass guitar. "We continue to try and push ourselves and our music to new heights."

After the success of our previous band event we are happy to inform you that SATURDAY the 28th will include not ONE, not TWO... but THREE LIVE METAL BANDS for your headbanging enjoyment!!!
Be sure to check these bands out online as it would be a shame to miss such an opportunity when it arises locally in Southend!! All the bands have truly refined sounds and we are expecting a great evening of Metal entertainment!! Also by supporting events hosted by BLACK ARROWS you will guarantee the continuation of LIVE METAL and TRUE METAL club nights in and around Southend!! Which is nice :)
There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.

It grooved, but had some speratic blast beat parts as well, that made the sound original. I thought the drums sounded big and clear, as well as the over all production was nice! How many bands are you guys in? Ha, ha...
