Nailpoint splashes onto the rock music scene with sick riffs and lyrics that speak directly to your soul. With a good ole’ rock-n-roll feel and a new metal spin, this band will leave you wanting more and asking the question, where can I get the album? The answer to that question is simple, everywhere. The band formed in 2002 with original members Andy Vincent(lead vocals), Nate Thompson(drums), Mark Vincent(guitar), and Wyatt Bade(guitar). “We got together one day and it was love at first note” says Thompson. When asked, what does it take to succeed in todays music industry, Wyatt says “practice, practice, practice, with so many good musicians out there you have to be at the top of your game.” To know how long the guys have known each other, just ask Andy and Mark Vincent. “Since we’re brothers I’ve known Andy all my life. It kind of makes things easier because I never have to guess about his personality or what kind of mood he’s in, ya just know” says Mark.
Andy, “I would say thats true, we always know what page the other ones on.”
In May of 2008 the band teamed up with producer Tony Palacios who has worked with bands such as Newsboys, Audio adrenaline, Building 429, Third Day, Toby Mac, By the tree, Tree 63, Decyfer Down, Red, Day of fire, Super chick, Pillar, Michael w Smith, High Flight Society, Every day Sunday, Nevertheless, Zoe girl, Rebecca St James. The result of the collaboration was an album (Falling to Pieces) that just straight up rocks.
In 2008 the band was added to the roster of Mad Monkey Records(MMR), an indie label that saw great potential in the band. “The first time I saw Nailpoint perform, my jaw dropped and I new I had to sign them before someone else did”(CEO, Mad Monkey Records). Since the merger with MMR, Nailpoint has shared the stage with national acts such as Fire Flight, Disciple, Red, Never the Less, Everday Sunday, and many more. The band is currently endorsed by GHS/Rocktron, Thorn Clothing, Fair Design, Flyland Design and more.
What it comes down to is this, Nailpoint is a hardworking faithbased band that will blow your mind and leave you wanting more. This band is definitely the real deal and is quickly becoming a household name.
