Bio:

Who am I? Somewhat of a traveler. Grew up amongst wild roses and summer berries. Crooked houses and wild children. In the south harbor of Copenhagen. With music and strange excistances. Traveled through europe in an old van with my parents and sister, playing and singing in the city streets... And performing on huge stages in the north with my mom and dad's group 'The Savage Rose'. From Greenland to Norway to Denmark. Moving to the land of Los Angeles. The dreams of Hollywood. The grand of grand. The smiles. Here's looking at you kid! Tarantino stories. Long avenues and boulevards. Palmtrees. Valleys. Superstars and rock and rollers. And traffic. From west to east, found true love in the New York streets. Brooklyn. And jazz in the subways. Lonely saxofones and lights of night. I am singing on the trains. With guitar, tambourine and harmonica. Passing around a hat for a dollar and a dime. Playing music with the kids of the city. Webster hall! Pianos! Yes, New York! Character. Movement. Life. I am dancing. Andy Warhol and Billie Holiday. Bob Dylan. New York keeps talking. Individuals. I breathe and sing. Aya. Someone took me to Puerto Rico, the enchanted island. And the freedom of the ocean. But I lost someone so close to me on the mountain of love. The music wanted to keep playing. My dads old piano. It is where I write my songs. A piano called "New York" which has moved from Puerto Rico back to the South Harbor of Copenhagen.. Just like me. And back to Brooklyn. Moving to be where I feel free from city to city. Singing my songs and sharing my stories. My debut album is out and the next one on its way! With amazing musicians who brought their souls. The magic and strenght of music - with the craziness of this one life. I keep going. And I keep growing. The Love! - Naja Rosa Koppel ..
