"Every now and then I like to comment on a band or event. This comment is for the band “Naked Bacon”. This band with the funny name will thoroughly entertain you regardless of age or musical preferences. They claim to be a cross between Roots Music, Blues and Jam Band. They definitely have a sound all their own and once you hear them, their songs stay in your head for a long time. If you are a bar owner and need a band, I would highly recommend the band Naked Bacon. My favorite song "Seemed like a Dream" I listen to often"

We started out as a couple of dudes jammin' out in an office after hours and through time we became more dudes jammin' out but we got out of the office and went into the freezer behind the office now where there's more room. We got ourselves a hankerin' to get out and play some music for other folks so we've even begun to start and stop songs together in order to facilitate that wish. The recordings we have posted are from separate occasions. Some tracks are recorded on a small portable recorder.
You can see that we do a pretty dang good job of starting and stopping together now. We're so jazzed about it, we're shootin' for the moon and have started playing all around the Puget Sound. We have more gigs coming up soon so be sure to check our Calender often! We WILL be playing near you soon!!

Chris Henry on Drums: Chris is the heart beat of the band, he comes from a background of both formal musical training in his school days at Kent Meridian High to playing by ear & feel with local rock/metal driven folk. He formerly played in the local bands Anhedonia & Half Mass. And he brings 12 yrs of playing experience to the band. When asked, he credits many different musical influences such as: Dave Matthews, Tool, Incubus, Rush & the unmistakeable Pet Shop Boys. His talent shows itself more and more as time goes on. Nothing would be the same without his input.-.-.
Michael Langston on Bass, Guitar and Vocals: Mike founded the idea of Naked Bacon along with Gary back when it was the two of them jamming out in the office. He also has a musical background from his school days back on the East coast. He writes our original stuff and he sings and plays guitar & Bass in the band. Some of his musical influences include: Muddy Waters, John Prine, Al Kooper & Woody Guthrie.-.-.
Gary Bruce on Lead Guitar and Vocals: Gary,a guitar instructor with 25 plus years experience at his craft, is very well rounded and is a versatile guitarist who can play a baby to sleep and can shred when the vibe calls for it or just lay you back with some soulful blues. We're lucky to have him. Before we got the band rolling he was playing with the band -Rabbit ears. His top 5 musical influences are : BB King, Jeff Beck, Warren Haynes, Duane Allman & Derek Trucks.-.-.
David Alan on Mandolin, Bass and Vocals: David brings 30 plus years of musical experience to the band. A former radio D.J. in Kansas, David has been playing since his school days. He played in singer/song writer situations before this. He mentions Lou Reed, Beck, Neil Young, Sonic Youth & Blue Cheer as musical influences.-.-.
Shawn Ross on Guitar and Bass: Shawn is a a very talented/seasoned veteran and we just talked him into joining the crew.He has 25 plus years of experience and has played in anything from a Folk Rock Duet to BlueGrass to Jazz to Top 40 covers. He taught Classical guitar at the Int'l School of Bangkok as well as through private lessons. He formerly played in bands on the Washington Peninsula with Donna Cairus as well as Janet & the Planets and others. He lists Return to Forever, Led Zeppelin, Christopher Parkening, Pat Metheny & Lenny Bordeaux as some of his musical influences. We look forward to our newest facet via his input.

3 years ago my mother was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. At that time, like most people, I had only "heard of" Lou Gehrig's Disease but had no idea what it was. Today, my mother's only got 2 weeks to 2 months left to live. She's lost her speach & ability to move 90% of her body while her brain remains fully thinking and emotional.
Please help me raise the world's awarness of ALS while making a few bucks to help find a cause/cure.
