Max Denney
Max was a farrier for over sixty years and provided comments on "Naked Running" about the change in thinking in horses hooves.Considering his age( Max was well over eighty) He could have been the die hard traditionalist , but Max was willing to accept a new way on its merits and provided "Naked Running" with a point of view that is insightful and inspiring for life itself.
Sadly Max passed away suddenly during production and will be greatly missed by all who knew him and have been affected by his wisdom over the years.And i think that is many more people that even know themselves. This Film is dedicated to Max Denney , a real human being of the highest quality.

This is a preview site of an upcoming documentary that has been in production since 2005.It may challenge a few traditional thinkers on the way we have been treating horses.
It is a film to provide some positive, thought provoking arguments to not putting metal shoes on our horses, whether they be for pleasure or used in the most professional of ways.
It will be released shortly...
In the mean time we are attempting to raise awareness about the film and the concept of running horses in an environment as close to nature as you can.Its better for you and better for your horse and great new ideas are starting to surface about allowing horses to look after themselves , from the hoof up, the way they have for millions of years. Yes , we can argue that humans ride them and use them and so we need to modify the horse because otherwise they cant cope...
Well , we hope to dispel this understanding in the film "Naked Running".
"Naked Running" follows Jeremy Ford, an ex Farrier, as he journeys into the outback of Australia, to observe wild and semi wild horses and their relationships with humans and their environment... Jeremy was a changed man after a clinic he attended to learn about Natural Hoofcare. He literally dropped his hammer and threw away his nails, told his clients that unless he can take the metal shoes off he won't work on their horse.But his Racing Clients did not have that luxury, having to conform to the rules, we hear of their plight.
Its a positive film, it asks questions and provides some answers.
"Naked Running" has been totally self funded, The director Andrew Del Vecchio has put himself through Film School to learn about getting the message across and in the process has fallen in love with Film itself.
many people have contributed to the making of"Naked Running" and all have done so in belief that hopefully this can make a difference to millions of horses around the world.
