Berlin, Rincon del Arte Nuevo, El Junco, and Sala Taboo--.Nalaya has performed a myriad of musical styles, such as jazz, bolero and soul, in collaboration with Jose Luis Torres, a recognized musician and inseparable friend. Searching for a unique trend, and building her vocal technique, Nalaya has pursued private vocal studies with the help of one of the most important contemporary masters in Tropical rythms, Mr. Juan Carlos Calderon. She has shared profesional credits with a variety of important Jazz, Blues, and Funky Groups in the cultural and musical circuits of Madrid, Galicia, Almeria, Sevilla, Portugal, and Barcelona --from the year 2000 to 2005--. Nalaya has vast music experience writing vocal guides for Spanish editorials, and also for well-known internacional and local artists, such as Chenoa, Marta Sanchez, Monica Naranjo, Operación Triunfo, and so on Her natural talent has been a blessed collaboration to many of the best known records of the Spanish contemporary music industry Nalaya has collaborated with great national talent such as Junior, Dj Kun, etc. She has experimented with new music trends as well such as the electronic music fusion with the Soul Electric de Wagon Cookin 2006s band, singing Soul House in the city of Ibiza during 2005, shes also sing techno music with the Djs Abel the Kid and Raul Orti -Fabrik--. Nalaya has shared the stage with very important Afro Americans and Latino singers and collaborated with producers in the making of songs from different trends, such as soul, R&B, and Jazz. Some of these artists are: MC levit -Africa--, Aqueel -LA, Frank Fontaine -LA, Deejakul Spain--, Killer beSpain--, Carlos Quintero Venezuela--, William Luque Venezuela--, Benny Teran Venezuela--, Martin Morillo Venezuela-- .
Nalaya has travelled to the USA, where she made special guest appereances in VIP Clubs in los Angeles, singing with Frank Fontaines saxo music,--Fontaine has played saxo for Celia, Fania, Mariah, Marc, and Jennifer Lopez, and she was also invited to sing for the master of the conga Rod Rozzelle and his latin big band. Then, Nalaya travelled to Miami where she enjoyed the support and collaboration of Latino musicians of the caliber of Amaury Gutierrez and Luis Enrique Mejia, whom she has the possibility of sharing a record sometime to come. Exploring new sounds and trends, Nalaya is interested in the Jamaican hip-hop. She stayed in Jamaica to record three original songs of her own repertoire, with the help of musicians such as Lincoln Thomas Shaggys guitar player--, Stephen Depaes bass--, Terry Linen singer--, Shallow -singer-- , Yellow man , Pinchers...
As of today, Nalaya is currently working on her record album, a fusion of R&B with Jazz touches, Neo-soul and funky; yet never forgetting her Latin American roots. Nalaya is directly involved with the production and musical direction of her record, helped by the unique talent of the composer and friend Martin Morillo, and the collaboration of Ze Rui Lisbon--; and LisbonThis record shall include themes of different and exotic styles, always taking in account the constant search for the highest quality in every aspect of the production: lyrics, melodies, harmony, arrangements, mix, and the final result.. a journey of success.
