Nalou has been created by Jennifer Scavuzzo and Marco Locurcio. They play jazz standards (bossa, blues, swing), their own compositions and pop-covers rearranged.

Marco Locurcio : Born in Brussels in 1972 he begins playing guitar at the age of 6 .At the age of 9 he attends the classical academy where he studies solfegio and classical guitar.In the same period he starts playng with some friends in a rock band and perform live. After a few years, as a teen ager, he discovers and fall in love with jazz music and improvisation._After high school he moves to Rome where he starts studying seriously music in a private school._In 1992 he moves to Los Angeles where he attends the Guitar Institute of Technology (G.I.T) and studies with great guitar players such as Scott Henderson, Joe DiorioJohn Scofield..._Coming back from L.A.in 1994 he records his first jazz cd "C.U. in Heaven".
The same summer he participate at the summer school of the Manhattan jazz school and wins the priceof best soloist.. _In 1998 he graduates at the Brussels Koninklijk Conservatorium.,._He works since 1994 in many projects as a perfomer but also as a composer, arranger and producer in many different styles all around in Europe._Very apppreciate by the critics and the public Marco Locurcio, thirty years hold, has already published five "jazz" cd on his name plus various collaboration with many other artists.
Benjamin Ramos attends guitar jazz lessons at the Antwerp Jazz Studio. In 2002 he studies the bass guitar with Bas Cooijmans. He finally decide to continue and develop his studies for the bass viol at the Royal Brussels Conservatory with Jean-Louis Rassinfosse.
Jennifer Scavuzzo was born 25 years ago in Vilvoorde. This italian-portughese young singer was rapidly involved in the world of music. She started at age 13 by taking courses of guitar.
Shortly, after, Jennifer participated to some festival in Belgium, Bulgeria, Holland and Italy.
2002 is a changing year in the music orientation of the singer. She studies at the Luxembourg Conservatory. She quits the italian popular style to focus on the Afro-American music and becomes the singer of the band « 7ème Set »(now called Bump), with which she performs in nightclubs with a jazz-soul repertoire. She likes the vocal tecnique of Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Elisa, Giorgia, Whitney Houston, Alanis Morissette…Of course she likes bands such as U2, her influence during her teenage, coldplay, Radiohead…
In 2003, jennifer starts walking on a different track. She begins a new chapter of her life thanks to her cooperation with Marco and Fabio Locurcio. Together, they write the lyrics and compose the songs. They record her debut album « IMPATIENT » at the brothers Locurio’s recording studio : « JATISTUDIO » in Italy.
The singles tracks of her album are selected by a lot of radio channels and the video’s are broadcasted in tv channels like TMF, MCM, Jim TV and Plug tv.
The RTBF classifies her among the 10 nominees in the category « song/music » for the election of « The Cristal lady 2004 ».
In the meantime, in 2004 the participates to a Belgian cultural project organised by the « Communauté Française ». She therefore composes the Italian song « Favola » of the cd « Eveil aux langues en chanson » and works, among others, with artists such as Jeff Bodart, Jo Lemaire, Mousta Largo…
The team Jennifer-Marco-Fabio is working on the second album. A new single is programmed to be released in this spring 2007.
