I do development work with young people. I enjoy working with them, inspiring them to reach their full potential in life. I am passionate about what I do and I simply live for it. I like traveling. If not overland then in the air. Meeting new people is part of the fun of being alive. THINGS I THINK I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT I can't live without sunshine, a full-bodied wine, the smell of grass moved early on a Saturday morning, to melt in a person's eyes, a touch that makes the adrenaline rush, always getting off first at a traffic light, TRAVEL, lots honesty, doing something spontaneous with someone, getting your heart caught in your throat, allowing yourself to be very, very vulnerable and not getting upset if the outcome didn't go your way, taking a calculated risk every now and then, doing something just because, and going limp because he has gently kissed me in my neck.

Who I'd like to meet:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket People from all over the Globe - men, women, girls and boys but especially those who can keep up intelligent conversation by writing a note or two. Hopeless romantics are welcome too but chancers are out and I do not accept just anyone on my space. Check out my friends on my list and you will see that they are all special people. Very special indeed. I would also like to meet people with similar interests. I have a rare hobby - collecting dictionaries: different sizes, shapes, editions and the best part of my collection is the rare language editions. I treasure them and love receiving new additions to my collection. A big "Thank you" to those friends who have added to my pleasure. Aloha Joh...anna!

it is a much necessary habit to visit your own myspace front page, to remind yourself what governs your life.  although you've lost a dear soulmate, allow yourself time to go through the various steps to come accept what has happened.
in the meantime, you have a choice to continue your passions, or not!
you continue to inspire, so don't stop now!
    keep on keepin on,
    spenze

Think back to a happy time, Spenze. A really, really happy time in your life. Go back as far as it takes, to a time when you felt so light you thought you might float.

Do you remember it? The carefree feeling? The acceptance of the moment, of yourself, of life? Feeling unfettered by thoughts of the future and oblivious to the past?

    Feel it a little longer...

    There. Very nice.
    Yours,
        The Universe

Many have heard the saying “No man is an island”, but some have a hard time grasping the concept that it teaches.

    What does it mean?

I think that it is meant for the overly independent among us. It reminds us that we are social creatures. It reminds us that we need the help and support of others, and that we need to be there to help and support the people around us when they need it.

I hope that you have a great week. Please don’t be an island.

  • Nov 16 2009 8:56 PM

    Hello Johanna,

So good to hear from you! I am glad to hear all is going good for you. My weekend was grand, I hope yours was as well. I too am teaching, but I teach daily living and coping skills to those who have disabilities. It is a very rewarding job seeing people overcome the bounderies that life has placed on them.

much love to you my friend,
    Karen
