Sounds Like
"Name is an extremely promising group... The songs from Internet Killed the Audio Star showcase a lot of potential... Give Name a listen as they seem to have their brand of experimental hardcore/metal down better than much of their competition..."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"Their music gives a lot of poetic personal messages, with a twist of sarcasm, and violence."
"With constant screams, ferocious percussion, and disharmonic guitar riffing, [name] is a real beast to behold... [They] make fun of an overdone genre in songs like "Killer Whales, Man"... There's the occasional glimpse of jazzy brilliance exerted by n.a.m.e."
"It may be a silly way to describe it, but n.a.m.e.’s performance is like a kid getting hopped up heavily on some primo teeth-rotting sugar products, and then running around like a lunatic. The kid then breaks something (or runs into a wall), hides and groans, panting curled up in a ball for a little while before repeating the cycle over and over until exhaustion finally takes its final toll for the day... [name's music] is compelling and executed great..."
"California Bay Area residents n.a.m.e. ( or the New Approach to Martyrs Expressions), have created possibly the closest musical equivalent to the experience of neglecting to take [your] daily pill... Pure chaos..."
It is important in becoming artists to make sure that we do not pollute this world; moreover, as artists we can actually beautify this world. Inspired in this way with our contact with art, there is less room for neurosis... both necessary and important. Inch by inch, step by step, our efforts should wake people up through the world of art, rather than please everyone and go along with the current. The artist is not a self-styled artist painting a picture out of his own shit and piss and selling it for a million dollars, but an upright person, a good, gentle, and well-meaning person who is wiling to cut through his or her subconscious gossip completely so that a straightforward, brilliant, precise, clear mind takes place....What makes you artistic? What convinces you, if you are uncertain, that a work of art is a real expression of yourself? Or is a work of art something to make sure that the rest of the world is convinced about you..
..so that in turn you yourself find ground to exist?
