..about the history of Blue7. He was some kid from the southbay of Southern California who divided his time between
music and visual arts, and his art career took off first. Not only was he a respected visual artist, he also got
lots of important work in the Hollywood dream machine as a designer, art director, story board artist... and he got
bored, as so many do in Hollywood.
On Ifilm.com there is a movie written and directed by Blue7 (Girl With a Tail) with all the music composed
and recorded for the film by Blue7. The film got critical raves but the music began to consume his every thought.
Perhaps it was
some kind of spiritual awakening at the "Burning Man Festival" in Nevada around the turn of this century, or perhaps it was just one more trampling
by the chuckleheads behind their desks but one day... Blue7 told all of us, his pals, that he had sold everything and just
drove away.
In following blogs, Blue7 will share his visual art and also may ( or may not ) share some of his world travel journal with us... but for now it's important to say that
he landed in Krakow, Poland where he now resides, composes and most importantly, performs.
He has been emailing us lots of pictures and strange tales... and now some mp3's... and we figured... what the hay, we'd make him a mySpace page.
If you like this music, go ahead and add him...
Perhaps if enough of you send your heartfelt messages... he just might talk...'cuz he sure has been a mysterious figure these past few years.
Meanwhile, around the world, musicians are hearning about Krakow as being this new mecca for creative types and starting to make their pilgrimages... when they arrive they find Blue7 perched on an ever elevating throne of performing bliss as his audiences continue to grow in size and furvor.
The music is scary and sublime but with a kind of mysticism and good heart and the critics are already taking notice...
With this page to broadcast the music to the wide world, you can expect swift changes. So make friends now!
And for the moment, give yourself over to a lifelong artist, and experienced dream weaver and a hypnotizing, oft challenging and occasionally
disturbing composer... pet the black cat and get your life back... because it is a miracle.

Zerova will play for the first time in Krakow, together with New Century Classics and The Midnight Reverie Trio.
Discover these 3 acts, on a magical night by Kazimierz, on the 12th of May, at Tytus i Koka.
Zerova's moving indie electro music is as much drenched with emotions as with blips and beeps and flowing piano melodies.
Complementing them will be two bands based in Krakow but comprised of members from all over the globe: New Century Classics, playing intense instrumental post-rock, and Midnight Reverie Trio, who draw their inspiration from Eastern European folk music and feature an accordion and french horn.
Thanks to Cracow-Life for their words and to Faza, from B-Side for all the support given. A very special thank you to Mr. Esgar Acelerado for the inspired poster.
Sorry I've been out of touch. There's a new video on my Myspace page from a show I did earlier this year with PJ Harvey on bass and Scott Mathers on drums (click here to view). Also, over on my Web site, you can see a video of me playing with Frank Black on the Henry Rollins show on the IFC (click here to view). Unfortunately, my tour to Italy, Norway, Germany, UK, Spain, etc., has been moved to the FALL, rather than summer, as originally planned. The reason is that I'm composing all the music for a new TV show as well as finishing up the new record. Hope all is well with you and I really do appreciate your support.
