1999/2000
Nameless Crime was born: the original line-up consists of Raffaele Lanzuise (bass), Alessandro Tuccillo (guitar), Marco Ruggiero (guitar), Michele Sorrentino (vocals), Dario Graziano (drums).
In December 2000, Nameless Crime release their first demo (recorded and mixed by Maddalena Bellini, at the beginning of her producer/sound-engineer career).
The songs in it are characterized by a distinctive 80s Heavy Metal sound.
2001:
The new singer Fabio Manda replaces Michele Sorrentino; the band moves towards a “Bay Area” thrash metal oriented sound.
2003:
After two years of intense live activity, Nameless Crime record their first self-titled full-length album, released by Nocturnal Music (an Italian label that worked together with Frontiers distribution at the time). Once again, Maddalena Bellini's technical contribution is central in this record, which obtains a very good critics' and fans' response. “Nameless Crime” sells good and the band's able to play in important rock/metal festivals like Agglutination and Badia Rock. They also tour in Italy with the American metal band Helstar, together with Haydes.
In the same year the new drummer Peppe Iovine, replaces Dario Graziano.
2004/2006:
In 2004 Nameless Crime record the EP “Backdraft”.
At the end of 2005 the band is working again with Maddalena Bellini for a second full-length album: “Law and Persecution”. (The new tracks were recorded in different studios in Naples and mixed and mastered at Fear Studio in Ravenna by Maddalena Bellini and Gabriele Ravaglia.)
Marco Ruggiero quits the band before “Law and Persecution” is finished.
2007:
“Law and Persecution” is finally out, published by Powerzone Record and distributed by Masterpiece. Nameless Crime's second full-length has a much more professional production and the thrash metal influences of its predecessor combine with a powerful hard rock sound.
Unfortunately in a few months Powerzone Record fails and the album never gets a proper distribution.
In this period, several session guitarists replace Marco Ruggiero in live shows.
2008:
Alessandro Tuccillo leaves the band, followed by Fabio Manda and Peppe Iovine and Raffaele Lanzuise is the only original member left on board.
The band's close to a breakup, when Maddalena Bellini officially enters Nameless Crime as guitarist, followed by the new drummer Daniele Ciao. The new vocalist Dario Guarino (from Aged Teen) also joins the band and the original Nameless Crime's drummer Dario Graziano returns as a keys/synth player.
With this brand new line-up, Nameless Crime change their sound to a more alternative rock oriented metal.
They soon record the new EP “Season of the Grey”.
2009:
Nameless Crime sign a contract with Alkemist Fanatix Europe Promotion. They're working on their next album “Modus Operandi”, that'll be out at the end of 2009 and will be licensed by Copro Records/Plastic head.
