Somos dos diseñadores, namero y mog, que nos dedicamos tanto al diseño interior, gráfico, de objetos, serigrafías, graffiti, pintura y otras actividades más que hemos ido aprendiendo cada uno por su cuenta a lo largo de nuestra vida y que ahora reunimos con este nombre "nammog".
Nuestro primer proyecto juntos se llama ANIMAÑAS y son unos muñecos de peluche que hace unos años empezó a dibujar mog y que ahora, al reunirnos, cogen volumen en las manos de namero.
El nombre de animañas para nosotros tiene dos significados, por una parte las alimañas son animales mal considerados, con una mala reputación y aquí podrían entrar, en parte, nuestras acciones y el carácter rebelde que hemos tenido nosotros durante casi toda nuestra vida... por otra parte animañas es un juego de palabras entre animal y maña (la "maña" que podemos tener al dibujarlos o darles vida con la tela.)
Desde el momento que empezamos con este proyecto el sentimiento de que estábamos creando una gran familia nos invadió y ahora somos completamente adictos a ellos, cada día salen dibujos nuevos y ya no podemos parar... El entusiasmo y la ilusión que hay detrás de cada puntada nos hace pensar que estos muñecos tienen un pedacito de nuestras almas; y ahora, después de unos meses de mucho trabajo y esfuerzo, hemos pensado que nos encantaría compartirlo con vosotros para saber vuestra opinión.

nam & mog
We are two designers, namero & mog, who specialize in interior and graphic design, object design, serigraphy, graffiti, painting and several other activities that each of us have mastered over the years and now we have decided to bring to fruition under the brand name of "nammog". Our first project together is called ANIMAÑAS, which are stuffed animals that were designed by mog a few years ago and now that we have partnered, they are brought to life in the hands of namero.
The name of animañas, means two different things to us. On one hand "alimañas" are unlikable animals with a bad reputation which could translate into our own actions and the rebel spirit we have had all of our lives. On the other hand, it is a play on the words animal and ability = "maña" (in spanish); the ability that makes possible its design and creation.
From the moment we started this project, the feeling that we were creating a big family was very intense and we are so immersed in it that we come up with new designs every day and we cannot stop! The enthusiasm and dedication that are behind every step of the creation makes us think that part of our souls remain in each one of the animañas and now, after a few months of hard work, we have decided that it would be awesome to share them with all of you and get your feedback.
