CHOOSE the path to Enlightenment now! Because: life's a bitch and then you are...reborn. What the Buddha taught was that Awakening is the ONLY true "happiness", all others (goals) are like chasing the winds of illusion [Maya]. Enlightenment is the escape from the otherwise endless cycle of death and rebirth. Freedom from the clutches of the wheel of rebirth, of samsara! This is Nivana/Moksha, the highest goal of all the great traditions. The last words the Buddha spoke were: "Seek you Liberation with diligence!" As if the world were lit aflame, because it is. Spiritual Dharma (of many traditions, i.e. Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, Taoism, Sufism, etc, etc) are the key to putting out this fire. Seek them with the urgency you would seek water in the case of your own body were ablaze. No time to wait or it is too late. "Fight fire with...water(dharma)!

Statement of Purpose: 1.) To unite the cyber-Sangha. In other words, to bring together people who are drawn by Eastern spiritual paths. 2.) To aid people in their voyage to the "further shore" (aka Nirvana, Moksha, etc). 3.) To help wake beings out of aeons of spiritual slumber.

Wanted: People with interest in the metaphysical. "Metaphysical" used in this context as the recognition of, and continued effort to access, reality beyond (meta) the purely material one that is perceived as such only because of our limited sense apparatus.

    This is a generic message to my myspace ninjas!
    Not that I have many, But I do adore you all.
    I started this account to keep in touch with friends, family,
    causes and crazies, and hot chicks.
    I was basically going through a midlife crisis. Lots of

    Good sons and daughters! Great love and compassion are called Buddha-nature. Why? Because great love and compassion always accompany the bodhisattva, just as shadows accompany things. All sentient beings will without fail ultimately realize great love and compassion. Buddha-nature is called “state of regarding each being as one’s only child.”

    Und den
    Nachrichten ist es keine Zeile wert.
    Auf der Erde sterben jedes
    Jahr 2 Mio. Mädchen und Jungen an
    Durchfallerkrankungen, die mit einer
    isotonischen Salzlösung im Wert von
    ca. 25 Cent behandelt werden
    könnten.
    Und den Nachrichten ist es keine Zeile wert.
    Die Masern,
    Lungenentzündungen und andere mit relativ preiswerten
    Impfstoffen heilbare
    Krankheiten haben jedes Jahr bei fast 10 Mio.
    Menschen den Tod zur
    Folge.
    Und den Nachrichten ist es keine Zeile wert.

    Aber als vor
    einigen Jahren die famose "Vogelgrippe" ausbrach,
    überfluteten uns die
    globalen Informationssysteme mit Nachrichten.
    Mengen an Tinte wurden
    verbraucht und beängstigende Alarmsignale
    ausgegeben. Eine Epidemie, die
    gefährlichste von allen!
    Eine Pandemie!
    Die Rede von der schrecklichen
    Krankheit der Hühner ging um den Globus.
    Und trotz alledem, durch die
    Vogelgrippe kamen weltweit "nur" 250
    Menschen zu Tode. 250 Menschen in zehn
    Jahren, das sind im Durchschnitt
    25 Menschen pro Jahr. Die normale Grippe
    tötet jährlich weltweit ca.
    500.000 Menschen. Eine halbe Million gegen 25
    !
    Einen Moment mal. Warum wird ein solcher Rummel um die Vogelgrippe

    veranstaltet?
    Etwa, weil es hinter diesen Hühnern einen "Hahn" gibt,
    einen Hahn mit
    gefährlichen Spornen ?

    Der transnationale Pharmariese
    Roche hat von seinem famosen Tamiflu zig
    Millionen Dosen alleine in den
    asiatischen Ländern verkauft. Obgleich
    Tamiflu von zweifelhafter Wirksamkeit
    ist, hat die britische Regierung
    14 Mio. Dosen zur Vorsorge für die
    Bevölkerung gekauft.  Die Vogelgrippe
    hat Roche und Relenza, den beiden

    When the nun Chiyono studied Zen under Bukko of Engaku she was unable to attain the fruits of meditation for a long time.

    At last one moonlit night she was carrying water in an old pail bound with bamboo. The bamboo broke and the bottom fell out of the pail, and at that moment Chiyono was set free!

    In commemoration, she wrote a poem:

    In this way and that I tried to save the old pail
    Since the bamboo strip was weakening and about to break
    Until at last the bottom fell out.
    No more water in the pail!
    No more moon in the water!
