Indie-popsters Oppenheimer are playing an intimate gig at the Frog & Fiddle on June 12th. We are running the final heat of our battle of the bands series in Cheltenham in April. The event will probably be on the evening of Weds 9th April at the 2pigs.
The prizes
Kiss My Face Music have teamed up with the Virtual Arts Centre at Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum and Wychwood Festival to offer the winner of each heat a coveted slot on the community stage at the Wychwood Festival on Friday 30th May.
The 4 heat winners will also be invited to play at a grand final (some time in May). The winner of this final will be moved to a bigger stage at the festival and get another prize too!
How to apply
If you would like to be considered to play at this event please reply to this message or email stefanedwards@googlemail.com. In your reply, please indicate how many people you would expect to attract to the gig (this is necessary to ensure that lots of people turn up and we make enough money to cover our costs and make a small profit towards the great prizes!)
Competition for these places is likely to be tough so please apply by 6th of March. The successful bands will be notified by the 9th March.
