From primeval times on the fertile regions of the Danube have always been a melting pot of different cultures. As a rich environment and living myspace for many ancestors: Celts, Germans, Romans and many more Austria was and will always be the central heart of Europe that remains up until today as an intermediary between East and West.
Following these roots NAM is a meeting pool of musicians, that gather in various lineups in order to fuse the spirit of ancient instruments with their own ideas to an eclectic new style of music...
Die Idee entstand durch eine Freundin, die ich im Krankenhaus besuchte. Sie bat mich nur diese Zimbeln zu spielen.
Damit sie den Klang auch hören kann, wenn sie alleine ist, hab ich ihr einfach eine Sequenz in unserem Studio aufgenommen und machte dabei selbst die wohltuende und inspirierende Erfahrung der Zimbeln.
Am nächsten Morgen wachte ich mit der Vision auf, dass dieser Klang von Menschen auf der ganzen Welt als positiver Anker genutzt wird - unabhängig von musikalischem Geschmack, spiritueller Ausrichtung und Weltbild.
Sei es Heilung, Friede, Liebe, Erfüllung, Freiheit, ein Projekt, ein Ziel oder bewusst zu atmen, präsent im Hier und Jetzt zu sein… sei es einfach eine feine Klanguntermalung…
Alle 20 bis 45 Sekunden (ca. 30 Minuten lang) ertönt der klare Klang der Zimbel und erinnert sanft an den individuellen Fokus – die Qualität, die man bestärken möchte, seinen Beitrag zum großen Pool, vom Feld der Intention zur Wirklichkeit.

Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
