Let's see my heroes/heriones....but I have so many people I look up to! Any one who has fought and survived (or perhaps didn't) oppression. All those poor people who died in the Holocaust, the 'whiches' that were burned. All the single mommies out there that are making it and giving their kids the best life they can. All the victims that have spoken up and seen their monster put behind bars, and those that have spoken only to have their monster remain free. All those victims that have kept quiet for far too long because of the fear of retaliation. All the women that have made the responsible choise to have an abortion or put their baby up for adoption because they knew it was the right thing to do. All the under dogs in the world, those are my heroes!
Gays, Lesbians, Bi's, differently oriented...in the closet or slamming the door firmly behind you...that you can exist, accept, and cope with the suckie assed snotty do-as-I-say-but-not-as-I-do world...you are all my heroes! All you people in interracial relationships...you are my heroes! I believe love will always be color blind. Keep loving who you want! I mean it! I LOVE MY ONE SYLLABLE MAN, JIM (such a sweetie pie) I love my mighty white children, I love all of you'all! Be a hero...exist in peace, equality and acceptance!

Red-eyed tree frogs come from the warm and humid rain forests of Costa Rica in Central America. Some believe that their red eyes are a form of protection called "startle coloration". These frogs are very mellow during the day, and tend to be active only at night, so if the frog is awakened in the daytime, as might happen if a predator chanced upon it despite its excellent day time camouflage, the eyes pop abruptly open, hopefully startling the predator. This species tends to do better in a community of other red eyed tree frogs.

I'm gleefully handfasted to my sweetie pie Jim forever and a day!
Im a frappe' of nothern European peoples...a flambloyant eclectic Wiccan/pagan with a dollup of Buddhism thrown is for good measure. Hi I’m Elaine Revier a.k.a. Yane, Nana Yane and I am ever so pleased to make your acquaintance!
I’m from Minnesota. I’m Swedish, Irish, a bit of German and a frappe of a few other Northern European countries. I have 2 daughters. Tabitha Ann was born in 1987. Jazmin Celiia was born in 1990. I lost my daughter Natalia Tatiana to a heart defect; hypoplastic left heart syndrom in 1989. She lived with us for 29 days. She’s been gone quite a while, but we miss her every day. Tabitha had my grandson sweet Oliver in 2004.
I work in a small plastic injection molding plant (about 9 miles from home) as the Document Control administrator (chick) and industrial photographer. I’m also one of the ISO internal auditors. I’ve worked here since 1999. Once a month I make the company newsletter…it is ever so fun to be insanely creative!
I learned how to quilt in 1990 while on bed rest trying not to have my youngest daughter Jazmin too soon. A in home nurse who helped me with my 3-year old Tabitha taught me. I made Jazmin’s bunny quilt totally by hand since sitting at my sewing machine wasn’t an option at the time. Since then I’ve made about 30 quilts of assorted sizes, mostly patchwork a few appliqué. I work full time now, my sweet babies are adults and I’m a grandma now but the quilt bug raises its pin prickly head occasionally still. I quilt for a few charities: God’s Tiny Angels http://danettesangels.tripod.com in West Virginia. We make preemie, newborn and stillborn quilts, afghans and burial outfits; Project Linus Greater Twin Cities MN http://sites.google.com/site/gtcaprojectlinus/Home we make quilts from newborn up to young adult sized; Benjamin Smiles through the Ronald McDonald House in Minnesota www.rmhc.com I make travel sized bright happy pillow cases and purchases travel pillows for children who are away from home; Heart Babies in Minneapolis MN, I make quilts for babies and toddlers undergoing the many surgeries that involve the heart, and last but certainly not least Home of the Brave quilts that I make to be given to the Minnesota families of fallen soldiers in the many conflicts.
For fun my girls (when they have time), my sweet grandson and I scrap book, collage, decoupage, paint (acrylic) sketch, sculpt, well just about anything fun and crafty. We go for nature hikes throughout the year to experience the changing of the seasons and enjoy the plethora of local flora and fauna. I like reading mysteries and anything by Stephen King and Dean Koonze. I also like watching DVDs at home, mostly mysteries, action adventure and spooky movies. When I’m left to my own devices I like CSI, Law & Order, Crossing Jordan, um, stuff along those lines. I also really like the Mind of Mencia and The Daily Show with John Stewart! I love to laugh! In the summer the kids make my current vehicle into an ART Car (truck, SUV, whatever) For silliness we enter it into whatever art car parade we can get to. Oh to be that flamboyant, + it seems to REALLY irritate some people for some reason… go figure?
Usually in the summer months I paint guitar bodies with all sorts of lovely abstracts, bits of surrealism in bright fabulous color...my lovely man then builds the guitars into functional instruments.
I was handfasted to my sweet soul mate on the 9th of June 2007. He found me on the Internet on loveaccess.com cool huh? An Internet relationship that actually worked! We’ve been together officially since November 2006. His name’s Jim…and he’s dandy!

Let me tell you a little about FIBROMYALGIA:
What is fibromyalgia?
Fibromyalgia is a long-term problem that causes pain in the muscles and soft tissues of your body. You may lack energy or have trouble sleeping. These and other symptoms can be severe enough to affect your work and home life. But fibromyalgia does no permanent damage to your muscles, joints, or organs.
Fibromyalgia is a syndrome—a set of symptoms that occur together but do not have a known cause.
What causes fibromyalgia?
There are theories as to what may cause fibromyalgia, but at this point there is not enough evidence to support any single cause. Some experts think that fibromyalgia may be related to nerve cells that are too sensitive. Others think that chemicals in the brain (neurotransmitters) may be out of balance. Or it may be related to disturbances of the deep phase of sleep.
What are the symptoms of fibromyalgia?
Most people with fibromyalgia have pain in their muscles, soft tissues, back, or neck, as well as sleep problems. Many people get so tired (fatigued) that they become weak. If pain and fatigue are severe enough, the person can become disabled. A more specific sign of fibromyalgia is the presence of up to 18 specific tender points on the body. These are painful only when you press directly on them.
Although they are less common than pain, fatigue, and sleep problems, a variety of other symptoms may occur as well. These include headaches, morning stiffness, trouble concentrating, and irritable bowel syndrome. As with many conditions that cause chronic pain, it is common for people with fibromyalgia to have anxiety and depression. These can make symptoms worse.
Symptoms tend to come and go. Times when they are constant (flares) may be followed by times when they occur less often with less intensity, or are absent (remissions). Some people find that their symptoms are worse in cold and damp weather, during times of stress, or when they try to do too much.
Who I'd like to meet: MY BEST FRIEND in the WHOLE WORLD is STEPHERMINI! I met her in 1989 shortly after the death of my daughter Natalia! She helped me hugely cope!
Im searching for fabulous people of the human persuasion to be cyber pals with! Are you him/her!?!
This is Sweetie Pie JIm! Wicked cool huh?!?
I'm always looking for wickedly cool interesting mildly odd slightly touched people to be platonic pals, buddies and/or chums with...
You can be married but you dont need to be! You can be divorced, separated, living on your own or living with your significant other, its all fine with me. Im not of the mind to be choosey or only be able to chat to women only like me. I dont know if any of us are 100% like one another anyway. Were all different, different shades, different hair, different beliefs, and I am open to them all! Really I am, get to know me and youll understand.
Religion is also another way I am totally open to new experiences! I am basically Ecclectic Wiccan/Pagan. I know there just has to be a higher being out there but I have such a scientific mind that just believing is difficult for me. I was raised Christian, but Ive also studied Wicca; a few earth religions, Buddhism, Taoism to name a few.
for the add request and sorry to hear about your loss.
