Nancy Drew started playing melodic country inspired music in Oslo 2005. In august 2006 we recorded some of our material at Spydeberg solstudio Norway. Martin Hagfors worked as a recording engineer and producer. The songs are written by Nina except "Love Is Here", which is written by Johan, and "After All" which is written by Bjarne and Nina.
During the last three years, Nancy Drew have been playing concerts around Norway, mostly in Oslo, facing a bigger crowd each time. With new songs and better versions of the old ones, it was time to do some recording again. The new demo was initialized by the Norwegian legend producer Jørn Christensen in a simple rehearsal room in Oslo. With the exception of some additional vocals and strings, done at Jørns place, the music was recorded with the whole band in one room, during two days, in January’08. Nancy Drew is becoming more and more recognized by the Norwegian concert crowd, they have been A-listed on the Indie radio channel, Radio Nova, and the Norwegian broadcasting channels NRK P1, and P3 has also played Nancy Drew's music in many occasions throughout the last two years. The new album is recorded in "Harrys Gym Recording Studio" with Bjarne Stensli behiind the knobs. Gøran Greni sat in as producer/musician. In december 2009 the record is finished, and soon to be released.
The way it looks now, the debut record will be out within a year. In the meantime, Nancy Drew continues to do what they enjoy the most; to play concerts – for as many people as possible!

Bergen Mandolinband med ny låt og vårens spillinger!

Konsertstart er kl. 22.00, og det blir oppvarming ved Anne Lise Frøkedal. Det blir også diverse gjesteartister, diverse underholdning fra scenen, Dj Challa i Bergen, og god stemning over alt.
