Nancy Garcia is a Brooklyn based choreographer/musician/artist and co-founding member of the experimental band Monotract. She has had the pleasure of collaborating with visual artists Ei Arakawa, Anna Craycroft, Naomi Fisher and Aida Ruilova, musicians Thurston Moore, Rat Bastard (Laundry Room Squelchers), and Arthur Doyle (Sun Ra Arkestra), and choreographers Nancy Meehan, Felicia Ballos, Jean Marie Leary, Jessie Gold, Biba Bell, and Chase Granoff, among others.
Currently, Nancy's working on a newly commissioned piece that will premiere at The Kitchen in Winter 2009. For more info, www.nancygarcia.org.
