Nancy is inspired and very moved by the Rachel's Challenge presentation.
Things at South are going well, I've been taking Intermediate Algebra, P.E., a speech class that's rather fun, and a French class. Kevin decided to be homeschooled once again, so he's been taking online courses.
i have been pretty good i guess just wrkn like crazy it seems and ya this summer has gne by so fast its crazy im tkn a history a math online an english and sociology i have never tkn sociolgy before so idk wht its gnna be like
Thanks. School starts the eighteenth. I get my scedule the fifth and meet the teachers day is the twelvth? I'm debating if I even want to sleep if I have to get up at three.
I am! Thanks you so much! I'm really excited to move but I'm kind of nervous about school. Honors everything! Except English 3 and 4 cause I would have had to read six books before school and I just enrolled the other week. And I'm taking Spanish 2 second semester online.
Hi Mrs. Scofield :D How have you been? My summer has been good; my parents decided to move into Pueblo so now I have to switch from Rye to South. I'm kind of excited about going there but still nervous because there will be SO MANY people going there.
Yeah I think that I'm going to like these classes too. And I'm most excited about ceramics! I want to take a lot of art classes, and an into to architecture, for my cakes, that way I'll have art skills and I'll be able to balance my 10 layer cakes.
I hope I do ok in the computer class, and it's a required class for me.
That's so exciting that the girls will be in school! They grow up much too fast! My nephews will be 11 and 8 in a few months, and it seems like just a couple of years ago they were babies. But in about 8 months there will be a baby! My sister and her husband are expecting! They said that after Jan got back from Afghanistan they were going to start a family. And he got home a few months ago, so they didn't waste any time, haha. We're all so excited, we just wish they were closer, Jan's base is Fort Bragg in North Carolina. But I'm sure we'll start taking trips out there after the baby is born.
I'll try not to stay too busy today, it's my Saturday, but a bunch of us are getting together to have a little going away party for Brandon. So I won't be working, but I'll still be busy, but I enjoy being this kind of busy.
Yeah I know about not having enough time, and my summer is longer than yours.
No summer vacation? That's no fun! Where will you go in September? And how old will she be?
Umm... what classes am I taking, haha? It's been so long since I made my scheldule I can't remember... I know I'm taking my intro cooking classes! And I have a career math, cost controls, an intro to computers, food safty and sanitation, and a ceramics class.
I'm really excited to be in those classes, but I'm not ready to go back to school. And this semester I'll be going 5 days a week, and I have to be in class by 8am all 5 days... ugh!
But the sooner school starts, that sooner it will be out!
I'm glad that you've had time to read. I work 40 plus hours weeks, plus I have my social life to keep up with, o and that little thing called sleep, haha.
I really want to finish the Nicholas Sparks books before the new year, but I know that won't happen, but maybe next summer I'll have more time.
Yeah, being young and in love is hard enough, we're not looking to make it any harder. And of course you'll be getting an invitation. I couldn't forget my favorite teacher and mentor.
It's good to hear that you're summer's been good. And I deffinatly hear you on the year going by too fast. I can't believe summer is almost over! That's great that you're keeping busy with the laptops. What about your reading list? Anything good?
We're deffinatly waiting til after college. Both of us are taking extra semsters, so it works out for us to get married on our 6 year anniversary. It's in the summer (that's what I want) and it's after we've both graduated (that's what Josh wants) and it gives us a few months to settle down. And July 9, 2011 just so happens to be a Saturday. So that's the plan, but that could change.
I've been meaning to E-mail you, but we just got back from Denver, and we've been busy getting unpacked.
Thanks! We're so excited!
Friday were the races at Bandimire Speedway in Denver, and we'd planned on going since last year, and our 3 year anniversary was Wednesday, so we made a mini- vacation out of it and spent a few days in Denver.
The plan was for him to propose at the Aquarium on Wednesday, but I found out about that plan so he made new plans. So on Wednesday morning (by morning I mean 12:30am) he came to my house got me out of bed, and drove me to the park by our houses (where we met) and he sat me on the same swing and he got down on his knee and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.
It was so romantic! And Denver was great, we had so much fun.
