Nani's Blurbs |
About me:
"The opposite of courage in our society is not cowardice, it is conformity. People acting like everyone else not knowing why, not knowing where they're going. And there you have the trouble today. It's CONFORMITY."
-DJ Hype Recon 1973
THE PARADOX OF OUR AGE:
"We have bigger houses but smaller families
More conveniences, but less time
We have more degrees, but less sense
More knowledge, but less judgement
More experts, but more problems
More medicines, but less healthiness
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.
We built more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication
We have become long on quantity, but short on quality.
These are times of fast foods but slow digestion
Tall man but short character
Steep profits but shallow relationships.
It's a time when there is much in the window, but nothing in the room."
-Dalai Lama
When looking at the "about me" section I always feel like it's complete bullshit. There is no way to accurately describe a person in one or two paragraphs. Some pull off seeming witty and complex but I'm too lazy to give a damn.
I just moved to CO from MD, and it's a little weird, and harder than expected, but I'm glad I finally grew the balls to make it out here.

Who I'd like to meet:
Myself. Where did I run off to? My fist would really like to meet yo face. My biological father maybe?
