| General | Love doing volunteer work when i can..I have held back for months now because i kind of have my hands full here at home..abut as soon as time allows i shall again,,
Sav-a-life,christian missions,C.D.R.,disaster ares etc,,i do volunteer work with them.

About me:
I live in rural south central alabama.Once the south stood for a very Proud ,Hard working people..Respect was a demand in people ,and a good hand shake was the only thing you needed.
I see the older generation leaving daily almost around here (passing on to heaven)and i wonder will my grandkids have any idea of the kind of people i knew.I grew up in this same spot..I know all these people well.Nice thing about living in a small town ,in a small community.But now this can be a bad thing at times too! Everyone knows what everyone else does..lol..
Use too,when you heard something ,it was usually true..But now my motto is..This is probably rumor..with just a touch of trueth..and it usually is i am afraid..Why folks feel that need to just make up crap ,i will never know..typically there is enough bad,past mistakes,bad choices made for any of us..that if you want to tell something,tell the trueth ...You don't have to make it worse!!! we all have dirt,,so if you must talk bad about someone,tell the trueth!!!AND JUST IN CASE YOU WONDER...that same person listening to you gossip is going to include you next go round!!! ;) your turn,,,so why not just stop all this nonsence people..this life is hard eneough anymore with any help....
I enjoy living in the country,we have redone my grandparents home,a work still in progress..i have 2 grown kids,darrell-27 & rita-25 and 1 stepson that i have raised since he was 5 ,zack,age 15..2 wonderful grandsons,billy (age 5)and kolby(age 2) ..At this time kolby lives with us and billy part time...I will also be Nannabee again in may with the arrival of 2 more grandbabies,ans also expecting my first geat neice or nephew in may as well! the holiday table will be full next year!!! ;) i have my mom,1 sister,2 brothers,1 nephew justin,and best friend nancy...
I also am trying to live more frugal now..We are beginning to look into solar panels for electricity,composting,reusable water(rainwater etc.).i use coupons when shopping,checking for bargains first.I also scrap metals,aluminum,copper etc..instead of throwing in land fills to help ruin our land ,turn it in! make a few dollars to go with it!
Lots of other things we are beginning to look into as well..so if you have ideas ,let me know..would love to hear about it and anything you have done that has helped ,let me know!
love baking from scratch as well...use wash water to water plants,etc..
I like doing online contest,blog contest etc..so i will be adding contest links..Hey you may think they are useless and a waste of time,but already this year with just a few hours a week combined i have won 5 very nice christmas presents for family members! and several small ones..so yea!!! that helps too..and i have fun with them,meeting new people..
I enjoy the beauty of a sunset,the array of colors are spectacular! i know scientist say those same colors are from pollution,so i can't wait to see a sunset in heaven!
I love the sound of the ocean.to see the sparkling silver on the waves early in the morning or late in the evening...ohhh can just take me awaY!
The sound of laughter from a child or the coo of a baby..it just melts my heart..and to look into the eyes of my grandsons can take away the biggest pain i can feel..God granted me the secon most special gift this earth can give(JESUS IS FIRST)grandbabies!!!!treat them good people! this is the most unconditional love you will ever feel...
