Coming up! 2009 has been a great year for Nanna Larsen who performed showcases at the Florida Music Festival and toured with her great band in both USA and Germany. In 2010 Nanna Larsen releases her second album, and will be touring again. The new songs are co-written with prominent songwriters like Adam Argyle, who writes a lot for Melanie C.

The amazing Nanna Larsen Band plays pop/alternative/singer-songwriter-music with a Nordic/Americana tone. The five professional musicians are highly skilled, and play the personal songs of Nanna Larsen with high intensity and warmth. The band won the Live Singer-Songwriter-Contest ‘Troubadour – Modern Minstrels’ in Berlin 13th of June 2008, and the Berliners has really opened up their hearts to the Danish band, which also performs as quartet, trio and duo. Nanna does solo acts too.

Bonus info: Nanna Larsen’s song: ”Kiss Me One More Time” was chosen among 500 professional composed songs, to enter the biggest national TV-Show in DK and in Europe “The Danish Eurovision Contest” in 2004. Nanna Larsen performed live and solo for millions of people. The beautiful performer already entered the no. 1 radio station in DK in 2001 with the song “Hey Girl”, as a songwriter and front singer in the band SOFA, signed to BMG.

Moonchild – an adult child of an alcoholic Some of the songs on the record describe how it feels, to grow up in the shadow of an alcoholic parent. It is believed that more than 200.000 children today in DK alone share that destiny.

Nanna Larsen wrote the title song ’Moonchild’ in co-operation with the hit maker John O’Kane from Scotland, who has delivered songs to Tina Turner a.o. The song was played on national radio stations in DK.
