Influences
nuevo flamenco, swedish and latin american folk, country and north american folk, jazz, blues, metal, classical music...you name it.
On this page you'll find music in a variety of styles and settings, a sample of what I do as a composer, arranger, singer/songwriter and musician.
Songs were always my main focus, as I've always been fascinated by fusing music and lyrics into one experience. My lyrics are usually in swedish, but I also write in english and spanish, and once in a while I amuse myself translating my own and other people's songs. Nevertheless, while studying composition and musical arrangement I started to write instrumental themes as well, painting the scenery in notes instead of words.
Apart from writing and performing my own music, I have a vast repertoire of evergreens. For the moment I play a lot at hospitals and old people's homes.
I also teach songwriting and guitar playing to both adults and children.
As a child, I started out playing the classical guitar, moved over to flamenco in my late teens and as I and succesively wrote more and more music, my main interest became finding interesting and efficient ways to accompany my songs.
